Kia Cares for Children

The Children’s Home Society of Florida is a beacon for parents and families in the state. The Western branch of CHS serves Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties. CHS offers a multitude of services and support from early childhood programs and counseling to support for foster care and adoption. The good things that pour from the hearts at the Children’s Home Society are unending and rely on a tireless team of workers and generous community advocates.

One such advocate is Jessica Lee of Kia Autosport of Pensacola through its Kia Cares program. For December, Kia Cares went above and beyond to make sure local children have a magical Christmas.

The Children’s Home Society has lists of children in need and special requests for gifts. So many local people generously give to children they will never know. The day these bikes were delivered, several local business people were filing in with arms full of donations and packages, all wrapped and ready.

Gifts were coming in the front door and bikes were delivered through the back. Over 100 bikes were given by Kia Autosport of Pensacola, with help from Robbie Mott at Trek Bicycles, a locally owned bike store on Cervantes.

In addition to the bikes, Kia collected donations from workers, clients, and friends throughout the month. These donations included necessities and more toys!

Please check out the website of the Children’s Home Society to see all the great work they are doing and consider giving back like our friends at Kia. And the next time you’re in the market for a new “sleigh,” stop by Kia Autosport of Pensacola. They’re good folks!
