It’s the Weekend Top 10 with loads of Festival Fun! I don’t know about you, but my calendar is booked and we are just getting started for what I like to call the season of FUN!! I love this time of year!

It seems to kick off with the Seafood Festival and keep on rollin’. Between Gallery Nights, then Halloween, Foo-Foo Festival, Blue Angels Homecoming, Night Moves, Eggfest, and so much more…there’s an event for everyone from now until the end of Mardi Gras!

This weekend, we’re all sugared up and ready for a whole host of fun events starting with…

FOO FOO FESTIVAL – Thursday, November 2 – Monday, November 13. This year marks ten years of the Foo Foo Festival in Pensacola. A 12-day art and culture celebration featuring great food, art, theater, music, and events served with a side of Southern sophistication. MAGIC CARPET FOR PICTURES AND FUN – Remember the umbrellas and balls? Well, now it’s 48,000 colorful tiles that ribbon a magic carpet of color in downtown Pensacola’s UWF Museum Plaza! POSEIDON’S GARDEN – Nov. 2 – 13 all day. Located in the protected area of the tidal basin at Maritime Park, the installation will include various-sized blown glass orbs and spikes rising from the water as an offering from Poseidon to recognize our area’s stewardship of our beautiful surroundings. The glass installations will be dispersed throughout the basin. Over 300 mouth-blown objects will be combined to create a spectacular visual presence. https://foofoofest.com/2023-events/

63RD ANNUAL PENSACOLA GREEK FESTIVAL – Friday, November 3 at 5 p.m. – Sunday, November 5 at 3 p.m. The Pensacola Greek Festival is a celebration of Greek heritage focusing on food, music, dancing and family-friendly fun! From the moment you step in, you’ll be transported to the Mediterranean with the aroma of freshly grilled meats, the sound of traditional Greek music, and the sight of colorful decorations. XANADU KICK-OFF PARTY – Thursday, November 2 at 7 p.m. at The Rex Theater. This event is free to the public. Experience a sampling of musical numbers from the show followed by a meet & greet and talk back session with cast & crew. Let’s kick off Foo Foo with a sneak peek of your new favorite musical, XANADU! I don’t know about you, but I’m getting out my mirror ball earrings! GREAT GULF COAST ARTS FESTIVAL – Friday, November 3 at 9 a.m. – Sunday, November 5 at 4 p.m. The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is one of the best-regarded, most popular arts festivals in the United States. The three-day, juried art show draws more than 200 of the nation’s best artists. There is live music, great food, heritage arts, and the children’s festival. https://www.ggaf.org/

THE CLYDESDALES – Friday, November 3 at 8 a.m. – Saturday, November 4 at 2 p.m. The Clydesdales will make their walk down the Airway and then be held in a special location for the remainder of the airshow. NAS BLUE ANGELS HOMECOMING AIR SHOW – Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4. Gates open at 8 a.m. and the show kicks off at 9:30 a.m. It’s a day filled with thrilling aerobatics and incredible music. Don’t miss the Southeast U.S. Navy Rock Band Pride as they take the stage on the flight line, the famous Clydesdales, an all-female skydiving team and so much more! TCHAIKOVSKY’S SYMPHONY NO. 4 | PENSACOLA SYMPHONY – Saturday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m. at The Saenger Theatre. Under the baton of Guest Conductor Brett Mitchell, the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s towering Fourth Symphony. From its opening horn calls signaling inescapable fate to its rambunctious conclusion featuring a flurry of cymbal crashes and orchestral fireworks, it serves as a “faithful echo” of an intensely emotional journey.
