In a world of nonstop social media ads grabbing and garnering our attention, repeat after me: SHOP SMALL, SHOP LOCAL!
Shop small and local is exactly what I did!
My first stop was Pensacola’s very own Christmas House located at Celebrations on 12th Avenue! The Peake House, a historic home on their property, is transformed into a holiday wonderland with each room creatively dressed in a different theme. I found several gifts and decorations. Honestly, I could have completed my entire wish list and more!
Pure Pilates, 426 South Palafox St. & 221 Gulf Breeze Pkwy
With my perfectly wrapped Celebrations gift in tow, I made my way to the downtown location of Pure Pilates on Palafox Street. For all my Gulf Breezers, Pure Pilates has a second location if you would rather not cross the three-mile bridge.
Not only was I able to schedule private Pilates sessions, I also purchased group classes and equipment classes in packages of 5 and 10! From there I explored the retail store and was able to check several people off of my list—including myself. One must have a full cup before they can pour into others!
Pirouettes, 101 South Jefferson St.
After exercising my shopping muscles at Pure Pilates, I made my way up a few blocks to Jefferson Street, the home of Pirouettes. Pirouettes dancewear and children’s clothing store had everything and more!
As I opened the front door, I was greeted with holiday sweaters, festive dresses, and racks of beautifully crafted children’s clothes. Moving further into the store, shelves of shoes, rows of bonnets, and oodles of playful toys all happily greeted me. This is most definitely a store I could disappear into for hours! From children’s clothing to dancewear and ballet shoes to tutus, Pirouettes has it everything and more!

To fully complete my curated holiday list, I ventured off to the emerald waters of Pensacola Bay. Here I found SV Life Goals, a 45-foot luxury sailing catamaran which hosts daytime and sunset charters. I excitedly booked a sunset sailing charter for my husband and I to enjoy! Smooth seas and dancing feet are exactly what Santa ordered!
