Shopping locally is an easy way to share the love with small businesses in our community.

With the flick of my Santa hat, I hit five of my favorite local stores just like that! Check out the shops I chose below to find out where I buy for my friends and family.

Joe Pattis, 524 S B St

This hometown favorite for all the foodies. Joe Patti’s has got a large selection of fresh fish and market items for holiday family functions. This year, I wanted to bring Pensacola to family out of state. I pulled together a tote of local coffee and knick-knacks I found in the gift shop. You are sure to make someone feel like a local shopping here!

Fiore of Pensacola, 405 S K St

This is easily the most beautiful floral shop in town! Shannon and her team do a fabulous job with their florals and curation of the shop. Prepare yourself for quirky fun finds, locally made jewelry, and all the smell goods here. I left with a gift for my mom that I know she will love. You can always find Fiore doing their thing with excellence, including their gift wrapping!

Weatherfords, 3009 E Cervantes St

Opened in 1986, Weatherfords is the longest-standing local outdoor store in town. Not only does it have all the outdoor gear you need, it’s got an awesome rock wall in the back! This checks my box for an experiential gift that my daughter will love.

Innerlight, 114 Palafox Pl

Making my way downtown to Palafox Street I found myself in Innerlight Surf Shop! They’ve got all your surf and skate needs, plus the best selection of boho clothing you can find. It was easy to find a little something for myself, as well as a gift for my brothers at this stop. The shop is family-owned and always has a kind staff member ready to help! Shaka brah! I’ll be back in no time.

Peterbrooke Chocolatier, 112 Palafox Pl

Last but not least on my list is extra sweet! Peterbrooke offers an amazing array of decadent treats. I’m talking chocolate-covered anything and everything. Their baskets make a great gift for a co-worker or friend.  Stocking stuffers or white elephant gifts, you will pass the taste check 10/10.

The Santa in me loved shopping locally this year! This is such a fun way to love my community and fill my gift bags with local cheer. Stay tuned for the next gift guide dropping soon!
