The excitement of the festival and holiday time from Labor Day through Mardi Gras is the least life can do to apologize for not being summer, right? On the Gulf Coast, we may not get four seasons, but we sure do get fun!
Part of that fun is prepping for and shopping for gifts. The main recipients of my gifts are my three kids ages 17, 15, and 7. And let’s be honest, as a single Mom I just buy my own gifts, so I’ve slipped some fun for moms in my shopping video as well.

I have a 17-year-old son who has been a skateboarder since he was little. For many years, something skate has been on his Christmas list. Pizzaz Home at 832 Gulf Breeze Pkwy in Gulf Breeze
Pizzaz Home has everything you need for decorating, gifting, and hosting for every holiday, especially Christmas! They also have a children’s shop and tons of women’s jewelry and accessories. But there are gifts for the entire family galore. My 7-year-old loves this store for its fun books and toys.
Pizzaz will host its Holiday Open House today from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. when everything in the store will be 20% off! Wes Dannreuther from Intercoastal Outfitters (another favorite store) will be there doing a book signing, too. I interviewed him recently, so be on the lookout for that interview!

Coastal Paddle Company (aka The South Outfitters) at 848 Gulf Breeze Pkwy in Gulf Breeze
I absolutely love this store! Kevin and the crew are definitely on the NICE list, too. My 15-year-old daughter loves this store as much as I do. What started out as an outdoor outfitter with a few clothes and shoes on the side has grown into an all-out shopping experience, so much so that it needs two names! Staying true to its roots with Coastal Paddle Company, but recognizing that so many people now come for the clothes…and accessories, The South Outfitters carries brands that we all love like Patagonia, Howler Brothers, Vuori, e. newton jewelry, and more. We love the locally branded merch up front and have a hard time resisting the cute shoes and Goodr shades.
