The heart of East Hill just welcomed its newest resident located at 1108 N. 12th Avenue — Pensacola’s Self Care Studio. A true testament to what can happen when five women share the same passion and aren’t afraid of hard work.
A shared passion for making a positive difference in individuals lives by helping them feel confident, empowered and happy is at the foundation of the work these women do. Zoe Pittman, Ashley Gaudet, Ann McClure, Alyssa Crawford and Valerie Hutto hosted an open house welcoming over 100 guests to their new space last weekend.
The new studio consists of a beautiful lobby and seven treatment rooms where each of the ladies are licensed in their own practices. Permanent make-up, Botox, dermal filler, facials, sugaring, massage therapy, eyelash services and spray tans are just a handful of the services offered. The new space also means they will be able to provide education classes.
“I’m most excited to be able to start teaching other Aestheticians and Permanent Make-up Artists and helping them grow and succeed to their best potential,” said Zoe Pittman, Aesthetician and Permanent Makeup Artist.
With he help of Danny Zimmern and The Zimmern Team, they received the keys to their new space on August 12, but knew they were taking a leap of faith because of the amount of work that was needed to bring their vision to life.
“None of us could have anticipated the work that had to be done and the emotional and physical toll it would take on us. One thing is for sure, you can do anything if you put your mind to it,” said Zoe.
”We have ripped carpet, painted the entire building, and renovated the place top to bottom. I could not be more proud of our team and to say we are blessed is an understatement. It takes a village and we had a village show up for us. This is our labor of love and we hope you guys love it as much as we do!”
From the moment you walk in, you feel the love that went into this space. It’s welcoming, warm, comfortable and contemporary. Just three years ago Zoe was renting a small room for her practice and now to be expanding and growing again is a dream come true. She not only thanks the Pensacola community for their support, but also says that leading a business with kindness is key to success.
“The best advice I can give is to always lead your business with kindness. Your team, your environment and how you treat them is everything. Your clients will feel that and the energy will be contagious.” — Zoe Pittman
We are continuously impressed with the entrepreneurs in Pensacola and the Self Care Studio team is no exception. Congratulations and the Local Pulse team is wishing you all the success your new studio can accommodate. Make sure you’re following them on Facebook and Instagram to get updates on events and services. Welcome to East Hill, ladies!
