Tickets are available for an unforgettable culinary experience at the Fire & Flavors Innisfree Food Challenge VIP Kickoff Event which will take place Saturday, October 14 from 6-8 p.m.
There will be a live Cooking Demo with two renowned chefs, Ronald Burns and John Lindsey, who will share their secrets for selecting the perfect cut of steak, seasoning, and cooking techniques. Then enjoy their selection of demo samples and appetizers. There will be an open bar available as well.

This kickoff event is hosted by PensacolaBeach.com and Innisfree Hotels who are gearing up to host the inaugural Innisfree Food Challenge the following day. It’s a weekend for foodies with special appearances by celebrity chefs Ronald Burns and John Lindsey.
Ronald Burns’ journey in competitive BBQ began in 2009 as a hobby with his family. Over the years, they achieved remarkable success in BBQ competitions and later transitioned into the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) circuit. Ronald has won numerous championships, developed six seasonings, and hosted popular cooking shows. He and John Lindsey co-host “Arkassippi Smoke Live” and the “SCA Ribeye Roundup” show, bringing the BBQ community together.
John Lindsey is the Grillmaster and pitmaster of the All-Qued Up Competition Cooking Team. He’s a respected Grilling and BBQ instructor, TV personality, and creator of a line of seasonings and rubs. John co-hosts “Arkassippi Smoke Live” and the “Steak Cookoff Association Ribeye Roundup Show.” He tours the country teaching BBQ and grilling, owns Champion Catering Concepts, and is a prominent figure on various TV shows and podcasts.
Then, on Sunday, October 15, dozens of chefs from around the region will descend on Pensacola Beach for the inaugural Innisfree Food Challenge (presented by PensacolaBeach.com and Innisfree Hotels) for a chance to win a coveted ticket (valued at $1,000 each) to compete in the World Food Championships in Dallas.
Prizes in the World Food Championship in November include $7,500 for each category and $100,000 for the ultimate winner. But that’s not all: Innisfree Hotels will generously cover the winners’ airfare and accommodations in Dallas, too!
