“Kids, get your boots on and get in the car! We are going to the corn maze whether you like it or not.”
I don’t know about you but there is something about the first 30 seconds of fall that has me throwing on a plaid shirt and acting like it ain’t just been H-O-T hot.
As Floridians, we have it pretty rough. Hear me out.
We go all the live long spring and summer battling the humidity like a chicken in a boiling pot. Only to have “fall” hit us for second, before the weather gets too cold for people who have adapted to being hot.
It is not in our genetics to go from piping hot to freezing cold. I’m no scientist, but I’m pretty sure that is how things explode.
Therefore, we have got to take advantage of this “fall weather” before it gets too cold. For those of you who don’t understand Florida winter, that’s roughly anything 60 degrees or below.
One of my families favorite ways to get outside and spend these cooler days is piling in the car and heading to the farm! We are blessed to have a few just outside of town. Below are my 3 favorites in case you are looking for a fun family way to get out.
