Over $215,000 raised for Studer Family Children’s Hospital

During the 2023 Cat Country Cares for Kids Radiothon, patients and their families shared their stories on the impact caregivers at Studer Family Children’s Hospital have made in their lives. Generous members of the community pledged $215,260 to support programs and services benefiting patients and families at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital, the only children’s hospital in the region and the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Listeners tuned in to Cat Country 98.7 FM, NewsRadio 92.3 FM, ESPN Pensacola 99.1 FM and WEAR ABC 3 throughout the day, getting first-hand perspectives from children and caretakers who have benefitted from the care offered at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart. The event was presented by Hanto & Clarke General Contractors with donations matched up to $20,000 by Wind Creek Hospitality.

It is truly a blessing to be a part of something so impactful to the next generation of children and families.”

“Cat Country 98.7 has partnered with the Studer Family Children’s Hospital for the past five years to raise funds in support of our community’s children and their families,” said Cat Country radio host Brent Lane. “We are so thankful for the generosity of our listeners and community members who helped make this event a success.”
