Pensacola EggFest is back for its 11th year cooking up delicious barbecue for hundreds of hungry attendees at Wahoo Stadium. And it’s all for a good cause. The storied foodie event has poured more than $650,000 back into local charities and has hosted celebrity Judges like Chef Big Moe Cason, American Sniper movie’s Kevin Lacz and Sean of the South.
Discounted general admission tickets are on sale starting at just $35. Discounted VIP tickets are also on sale for $75 and increase to $95 on September 25.
CO-founder Jerold Hall said all of the work to put on the event by the Pensacola EggFest Team is a labor of love for the community.
“To think that Pensacola EggFest has given back well more than half a million dollars to local charities has got to make you feel like you’re doing something right,” said Hall. “And people want to be a part of that — doing good in our communities. Where else can you sample some of the finest barbecue around and know that you’re directly helping local charities that address hunger and childhood cancer.”
Since its inception, Pensacola EggFest has raised more than $650,000 to support local charities like childhood cancer and systemic hunger and has served tens of thousands of meals to those in need. Charities have included Rally Pensacola, Manna Food Pantry, Studer Community Institute, Last Mile 5K, NWF Guardian Ad Litem, PACE Center for Girls and Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Blazer Academy.
