The perfect mix of mix of blues, rock and soul will serenade the sea this evening as one of Pensacola Beach’s favorites, Tyler Mac, takes the stage at Bands on the Beach. His rhythmic grooves and lengthy improvisational jams have gained him popularity in Pensacola and beyond.
Born in Indiana, Tyler started his professional career at the age of 13 and touring internationally at age 18. He has shared the stage or opened for everyone from Van Morrision, The Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa, Ted Nugent, John Rich and the list goes on and on.
Tyler has toured the world and played for thousands over the last 10 years. His debut album “Already Home” (recorded with super producer David Z) was nominated by the “The Blues 411 Annual ‘Jimi Awards’” in the category of “Best New Debut Release”.
With a home base in Pensacola now, Tyler can be heard playing at all the iconic live music venues in Pensacola, Pensacola Beach and all along the Gulf Coast. Follow along his Facebook page for updates on his upcoming shows.
The music starts at 7p.m. tonight at the Gulfside Pavillon area located at 20 Casino Beach Blvd. Insider tip, arrive early for a good parking spot and front row seat.
