Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida (RMHC) to hold the annual Firecracker 5k, presented by Hill-Kelly Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, on Saturday, July 1st. The race will begin at 7:00 a.m. at Seville Quarter in downtown Pensacola and offers participants the option to run or walk the 5k course. The Firecracker 5k is a family-friendly race offering a FREE Kids Fun Run presented by WEAR Cares.
Early registration is available online at www.rmhc-nwfl.org for $30 through midnight on Friday, June 9th. On Saturday, June 10th registration will increase to $35. Late registration will be available during packet pick-up for $40 on Friday, June 30th from 4-7 p.m. at Seville Quarter (inside Apple Annie’s). All participants will receive their t-shirt and race bib during packet pick-up. Packet pick-up will also be held on Saturday, July 1st (race morning) from 6-6:45 a.m. inside Seville Quarter. Virtual runners will receive a t-shirt and finisher’s medal in the mail, along with a virtual race bib.
Wear your red, white, and blue and kick off the Fourth of July weekend by running for the House! All participants will receive a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal, with additional prizes awarded to the top finishers in their age group. Enjoy the post-race party including free drinks for those 21 and up, music, and an awards ceremony inside Seville Quarter.
