Escambia County Sheriff’s Office shared some very pawsitive news yesterday and were excited to spread it.
Meet Buster the beagle! K-9 Buster is the newest member of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office family. Buster will be training over the next few months in tracking, and locating items such as firearms.

He will also be out and about around town, getting to know the community and he can’t wait.

Fun Fact: Beagles have one of the best noses among all the dog breeds. They are a smaller breed but have a great personality. Because of their hunting past, they are fast and swift and can track scents while staying less detected.
