Saturday, May 20th, 2023Local jam band legends Post Pluto will be taking the stage for their final performance Saturday night in a 10th-anniversary concert at Vinyl Music Hall.
Post Pluto is a five-piece progressive rock and funk band from Pensacola, Florida that experiments with many different genres, styles, and improvisational attitudes in their music. This fresh and fearless approach has allowed them to storm the festival and jam scenes over the years. Since the band’s inception in 2013, Post Pluto has created a reputation for their dynamic high-energy shows, unexpected covers, extended jams, and packed dance floors.
Post Pluto says of the concert, “A decade ago, the five of us gathered in a living room and formed a band that soon became a meaningful part of our lives. On May 20th, 2013, we had our first performance at Navarre Park under a gazebo. Over the years, we evolved into something beyond our expectations, creating music, sharing experiences, and making memories that will last a lifetime. This year, on the 10th anniversary of our first performance, we’ve decided to officially retire the band. (For real this time) We are incredibly grateful for the journey and cannot think of a better way to end than one more Saturday night at Vinyl Music Hall.” – Michael, Gordon, Jeffrey, Tommy, and Max
