This extraordinary production is a musical revue of stage and screen, including everything from Phantom of the Opera to Hello Dolly, Hairspray, and Ragtime.   4. Movies in the Park, Friday, May 12 at 6 p.m. at the Hunter Amphitheater at Community Maritime Park. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a family-friendly movie under the stars. The first movie in this three-event series is Turning Red. 
  5. Pensacola Opera al fresco, Sunday, May 14 at 2 p.m. at Seville Square Park – this is a great, free activity idea for Mother’s Day. This event is a part of the Sunday Bayside Market, with artists and vendors set up in Seville Square. The concert will feature opera, musical theatre, and popular tunes. Don’t forget your lawn chairs!
  6. The Reunion Band at Calvert’s in the Heights, Saturday, May 13 at 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. – The Reunion Band is a longtime Pensacola band performing for their last stops as a part of a farewell tour. Calvert’s encourages lawn chairs and blankets for this outdoor concert.
  7. Monster Jam, Saturday, May 13 at 7 p.m. at the Pensacola Bay Center. Monster Jam is a loud, dirty, and wild fun time with lots of photo opportunities and exciting things to watch. 
  8. The Big Scoop, You are invited to the “sweetest” event in town! Saturday, May 13th in historic Seville Square in Downtown Pensacola. This family-friendly event will run from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and will include all you can eat ice cream, popsicles, games, activities and more! $10 for Adults 12 and up; $5 for Children 4-11 FREE for Children 3 & under, and ALL Littles.   9. America’s First Settlement Urban Adventure, Saturday, May 13, 10 a.m. at Pensacola Museum of History – 5:30 p.m. Exciting 3-hour urban adventure of historic Pensacola in downtown Pensacola. The A1S Urban Adventure starts at 10 a.m. with tiered start times every half hour with the last start time at 12:00 p.m. Each team has 3 hours to complete the game. After the adventure, celebrate at the after-party from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. $15 after May 10. 
  10. Mountainfilm on Tour, Saturday, May 13 at the Pensacola Little Theater. Doors open at 6 pm and films begin at 7 pm. Tickets are available here. Mountainfilm is a documentary film festival that showcases stories about environmental, cultural, climbing, political and social justice issues. Mountainfilm is held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado.
