A Week of Hide & Seek just for Moms

I spy with my little eye…a gold paper wrapped jewelry box with a big white bow from Elebash’s Jewelers. In honor of Mother’s Day Elebash’s has begun their annual hide & seek game where they hide 60 wrapped gifts throughout Pensacola to spread a little Mother’s Day cheer.

Each day this week, you can find clues on their Facebook and Instagram pages as to where the boxes might be hidden. In return, they ask for you to tag them in a photo with the gift and where you found it because the giving doesn’t stop there.

For each gift found, Elebash’s will make a donation to Canine Companions. Canine companions provide service dogs to adults, children, veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Since their founding in 1975, all dogs and follow-up services are provided at no cost to their clients.

The idea is that a deserving mother will find the gift or the lucky finder’s keeper will pass the gift along to a special mom in their life and so far, that’s exactly what has happened.

We loved this sweet story that Elebash’s shared last weekend from one of the families who found a gift at the Palafox Market on Saturday.

”My husband is deployed and yesterday my daughter was upset because she has no one to drive her to the store to shop for a gift for me for Mother’s Day. And today, while enjoying our morning at the farmer’s market she found the box and thought someone forgot it on the bench. She got super excited after reading what it said.”

It’s stories like these where just the right person found the gift at just the right time that makes this Mother’s Day giveaway so heartwarming.

Are you still reading? I hope so! Because the Local Pulse has been lucky enough to hide one of these special gifts, which we will be hiding TONIGHT, and we are going to give you a little hint before the actual hint.

You’ll need to put on your dancing shoes in order to find our clue…
