Here’s to Lisa & Inweekly’s 2023 Power List

Every year we look forward to Inweekly’s Top 100 Power List, highlighting Pensacola’s most influential people. For the second year in a row, our very own Lisa Long Lyter, Part Owner and Editor-in-Chief of Local Pulse, made the list. While we are over the moon with excitement for her, we can’t say we are surprised.

This list recognizes all change agents in our community who are making a difference. Activists who organize and use their voices to inspire others and use their ‘power’ to influence positive change and growth.

So why are we not surprised to see Lisa’s name on this list? Because Lisa honors her maker, honors her people and honors her community each and every day. From the moment her eyes open and her feet hit the ground, to the time she lays her head to rest each night, she chooses to lead with faith, positivity and generosity.

When Lisa offered me a job almost two years ago, I wasn’t prepared for all the opportunities she would continually guide in my direction, one being the Local Pulse. Apart from me, I have watched her mentor numerous others, celebrate small businesses every chance she gets and dedicate her knowledge and skills to this community that she loves so dearly.

We (I think I speak for everyone at the Local Pulse) can’t wait to watch you continue to grow your portfolio in Pensacola and we feel blessed to be a part of it. We also look forward to watching you stamp your passport every chance you get, can we come next time?!

Speaking for everyone at Local Pulse — Congratulations to Lisa and to all the other Top 100 Power List People — we think you ROCK! Find the full Inweekly 2023 Power List here.
