Start practicing your poker face and grab your good luck charm — on April 28 Heritage Hall at Seville Quarters will be transformed into Le Casino Monte Carlo for any evening of philanthropy benefitting Mission Wonder Women. A team of women who work to support sex trafficking victims in Florida through survivor wellness, scholarships and economic empowerment programs.

Silent auction items include a framed Top Gun Maverick posted signed by  Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Connelly & Val Kilmer, a signed guitar by The Rolling Stones,  a signed guitar by country legends, signed sports memorabilia, several trips and plenty more.

Some of the celebrity poker players in the tournament that you can be up against include Roy Jones Jr., Pensacola’s Legend Hall of Famer Boxing Heavyweight Champion of the World, Sheriff Chip Simmons, Marcus Ellis, lead singer White Tie Ensemble and plenty more.

Florida ranks third in the U.S. in human trafficking cases with more than 70% of those cases are for sex trafficking. DCF reports that Northwest Florida has the highest trafficking intake rate in the State per 100 children in population. The work these women are doing is important and the money they are raiding through fundraisers like this one saving lives and empowering women and youth in our community.
