3 Things to Do Today in Downtown Pensacola

What an absolutely glorious day!

The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and this town is hopping! If you haven’t left home, grab some lawn chairs, or a blanket, and some walking shoes.

Because the weather was yucky yesterday, the Pensacola Crawfish Festival has extended its hours until 6 p.m.! The crawfish is boiling now over at Seville Square. There’s live music and plenty of vendors. Get over there and get you some!

The Pensacola Crawfish Festival has admission gates located on Government Street across from Hub Stacey’s and on Zaragoza Street, across from Pensacola Bay Brewery.

Tall Ships Pensacola is ALSO open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. today. The sails are out and it’s a beautiful day for pictures of these unique vessels. There’s a steel drum band at 11 a.m. and Roman Street plays at 3 p.m. Tours go on all day from 10-6.

We recommended parking somewhere in between and hitting both festivals, which are in walking distance of one another.

Then, get a to-go plate from Crawfish Festival and close out the perfect afternoon with a live concert at Community Maritime Park with the Modern El Dorados, as a part of the Blues on the Bay concert series.

Maybe we should rename Pensacola “The City of Festivals and Fun,” because there is no shortage of either.

Have a great Sunday!
