PACE Award Winners celebrated by Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce

Each year, the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce hosts a SOLD OUT event to honor local community members for their efforts in making our world a better place to live.  (In all seriousness, if former Mayor Grover Robinson had to ask friends for extra tickets, you should probably call Chamber President Todd Thomson today to place your order for 2024!)

The PACE (Pensacola Area Commitment to Excellence) Awards were hosted last night at the Pensacola Beach Hilton, and the winners listed below were honored.

We left the event last night though realizing that we have not yet had the pleasure of meeting the next super star of Pensacola.

During the evening, a short video is shared that is about each of the honorees with their family members and close friends sharing admiration for the nominee.

If the Local Pulse was invited to vote on BEST VIDEO of the evening, then certainly, Dr. Kim Thomas’ (Principal, C.A. Weis Elementary School) young son D.J. takes the Oscar for the evening.  His whit and charm is certainly award winning. Watch out for this one – we haven’t heard the last from him.

Congratulations to the best of the best – those who are working hard every single day to create a safe and beautiful place to call home.
