Jackson Browne’s Summer Tour

Jackson Browne’s summer tour in nearby cities with dates running from June through early August 2023. He will perform songs spanning his career.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer released his first self-titled album in 1972, with the surprise hit “Doctor My Eyes,” topping the Billboard 100 chart at number 8. It would take ten years, but in 1982, he landed in the top 10 again at number 7 with “Somebody’s Baby,” recorded for the movie, “Fast Times At Ridgemont High.”
Jackson Browne is a quintessential singer from his era, with lyrics focused on politics, relationships, and the meaning of life. Poetic and melodic, Jackson Browne’s music is iconic and timeless.
My personal favorite is “In The Shape of Heart,” which deals with the nostalgic wrestling of grief and acceptance of love and loss. It was released in 1986 and hit number ten in the Adult Contemporary genre.
The album “Late for the Sky” was found to be “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” by the Library of Congress and was preserved in the National Recording Registry. Many consider this album to be Browne’s greatest masterpiece.
