Impact 100 to Award Over 1.1 Million Dollars

IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area, is pleased to announce its 2023 membership drive has successfully concluded with a total of 1,192 members. On October 22, 2023, IMPACT 100 will give back to the community $1,192,000 by awarding eleven significant project grants of $108,364 each to nonprofit organizations serving Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.

Prior to this year’s grant awards, IMPACT 100 has awarded 142 grants to deserving nonprofit organizations in the Greater Pensacola Bay Area. After awarding the 2023 grants in October, IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area will have funded grants totaling $16,282,020.

“What a joy it is to live in a wonderful, giving community! The spirit of philanthropy is alive and well among us as demonstrated by the 1,192 women who have chosen to be a part of IMPACT 100. Through our collective giving, we have contributed over $16 Million to the Pensacola Bay Area. Together, ‘WE’ can make a bigger difference,” said Kristin Longley, President of IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area. “The women of IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area continue to help our nonprofit organizations launch truly transformative projects that benefit thousands of people, young and old, in our communities.”

On Thursday, April 20th, the organization will host a free nonprofit workshop and social for nonprofits considering applying for a grant. The event will feature Patrick Leddin, Ph.D. and WSJ best-selling author.

In his keynote, Leddin will share how to Step Up and Disrupt: Trust Your Gut, Take a Risk, and Change the World. Nonprofit leaders are urged to visit www.impact100pensacola.org/nonprofit-workshop for details and registration.

IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area, Inc. IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area, Inc. is an organization of philanthropic-minded women committed to improving their community by providing substantial grants to nonprofit organizations in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Grants are distributed in five focus areas: Arts, Culture & History; Education; Environment & Recreation; Family; Health & Wellness. Membership is open to any woman, age 18 or over, who makes an annual tax-deductible donation (membership fee) of $1,000 by March 1 of any calendar year.
