Making plans to attend to the 19th Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival?
It is being held May 4-6, 2023 in Foley, Alabama. In 2021, this balloon party was named the Event of the Year by Alabama Tourism Department.
More than 40 hot air balloons will light up the green space at OWA and soar through the skies in the heart of Foley. Balloons fly at dawn and dusk each day.
When not flying, the hot air balloons are tethered to the ground and rise to 35 feet in the air.
A few of the balloons will offer evening tethered rides to those who purchase tickets (however, the festival is free to enter).
The website recommends arriving on the festival grounds two hours prior to sunset (about 5 p.m.). The ticket booth will open at 5 p.m. with a limited number of tickets available or you may purchase them below online for the rides.
