Borrowed Books

Don’t sleep on the public library!

Our entire team loves the library. What isn’t to love about free books? Well, borrowed books.

The West Florida Public Library is a wonderful place to indulge any bibliophile. Every month there is a calendar of activities from chess to Lego club to Popular Lit Book Club. On March 18 at 1:30, the Pensacola Little Theater will have a special library performance of The Addams Family.

There is also Solo Caffe inside the library that serves Espresso, iced and blended coffee or Chai, snacks, lunch and breakfast. And we can’t leave at the ice cream bar cart for the young and young at heart. Almost everyone loves ice cream.

In addition to checking out physical copies, you can download the Libby app for eBooks, audiobooks and eMagazines. In just a few taps, you can start reading or listening instantly on your phone or tablet. The digital library is available 24/7 without leaving home and is free from the library. Choose from bestsellers, fiction, nonfiction, books for kids, and more.

To get started with Libby:

All you need to get started in Libby is your device, your library card number and PIN number. The Libby app is easy to use and will guide you through the setup process and get you connected to our library in just a few minutes. If you have questions, you can find in-app support, or visit the Help site or Libby Academy within the app for assistance.
