Tomorrow, Friday, March 24, Big Water Bay and the Coastal Curl surf simulator opens at OWA Tropic Falls. Just a short drive away in Foley is OWA Parks & Resort which features a theme and water park. If you haven’t been, it’s the perfect destination for a day trip or a mini staycation.
Tropic Falls Theme Park has 23 rides and an indoor Waterpark with 75-foot-tall slides beneath a convertible glass roof. Just outside is the all-new wave pool, Big Water Bay, with a surf simulator, Coastal Curl.

Through May 29, you can get Tropic Falls Twilight Admission tickets for only $49.99 starting at 4 pm. Take advantage of this deal to enjoy warm Tropical fun at dark, whether hopping in an inflatable at the water park or soaring through the sky in Flying Carousel. Twilight Admission Tickets are sold at the Tropic Falls admission window only beginning at 3:30 pm on days of operation. The tickets are valid date of purchase only.
Also, there is an upcoming Color Run on Saturday, April 22. Participants will jog, walk, and sprint (your choice!) through OWA as neon powder fills the air! Grab your friends, sign up, and you’ll each get OWA swag and a Rainbow Run T-shirt, available while supplies last.
Pre-registered participants are encouraged to sign their waivers and pick up their packets and swag in the week leading up to the run. Registered participants can pick up their swag bags and official t-shirts inside building 200-B in Downtown OWA (across from Paula Deen’s and OWA Theater) between Monday, April 17 and Friday, April 21, from 9 am-6 pm.

Participation includes a free Rainbow Run T-shirt that’s ready to be covered in all the flying colors, or you can wear your own get-up to the race. Hint: White shirts work best for all the colors to really show up!
