Visit Pensacola announced they are now accepting grant applications for their event marketing program for events in Escambia County occurring between Oct. 1, 2023 – Sept. 30, 2024.
Annually, Visit Pensacola allocates funds from its budget to an event grant program for groups and organizations that coordinate events or visitor experiences with a demonstrated history of visitor impact or significant potential to draw visitors to the area. The Visit Pensacola event grant program’s main purpose is to attract visitors overnight while engaging the local community with more experiences.
In 2022 Visit Pensacola awarded $185,000 to community events. Recipients of the program included Pensacola Dragon Boat Festival, Mahabhuta Vegan Yoga Festival, Gulf Coast Blues Festival, Winterfest, Pensacola Mardi Gras, Frank Brown International Song Writers Festival, Pensacola Interstate Fair, Pensacola Habitat Food Truck Festival, and Pensacon.
