Painting Classes and More at Quayside Art Gallery

Colors of the Coast exhibit at Quayside Art Gallery

Have you wanted to learn how to paint? Or maybe try a different style? February 25 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Instructor Kelly Lane will teach a beginning Alla Prima painting method.

In Alla Prima, pigments are laid on in a single application instead of being built up by repeated paintings. Students will be taught techniques of accurate composition, how to mix colors, brushstrokes, and more. Students will complete an 8×10 still-life oil painting.
