February 11-18 marks National Entrepreneurship Week (NationalEshipWeek), a congressionally chartered week dedicated to empowering entrepreneurship across the United States.
We want to take this time to not only salute and honor all the local entrepreneurs helping to build our community, but also to recognize The Spring Entrepreneur Hub, serving as the front door to entrepreneurship and empowering, connecting and growing small businesses in the Pensacola area.
The Spring Entrepreneur Hub is a program of Studer Community Institute focusing on three key areas – mentorship, connection to resources, and scaling/acceleration – to bring unprecedented structure and aid to local small businesses in Escambia and Santa Rosa County. The Spring has brought on two of the leading entrepreneur organizations in the world – Massachusetts Institute of Technology and gener8tor – to help fulfill the project.
Starting a business takes guts and entrepreneurs are forced to overcome tremendous challenges everyday. Not many communities offer support and guidance to those who dream of owning their own business. But ours does. Not only encouraging it, but empowering startups and entrepreneurs by giving them the resources that they need, all in one place.
