Escambia Westgate has been selected as a beneficiary of the Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program for the month of January.
Launched in February 2019, the Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
Escambia Westgate was selected as the January beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Winn-Dixie located at 312 E. Nine Mile Rd. Escambia Westgate will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.99 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during January, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
“We are thrilled to be selected as the recipient of the Community Bag Program,” said Cathy Rudd, Principal of Escambia Westgate. “The funds raised will go to support our positive behavior program.”
Escambia Westgate is a center school for the cognitively impaired in Pensacola. We educate students in grades Pre-K to age 22.
