Featuring 60 Local Artists, Performers, and Lanterns Lining The Street
On Friday, January 20th, from 5–9 pm, Gallery Night Pensacola’s theme is “Lunar New Year!” Join us and share in the festivities by celebrating the ‘Year of the Rabbit!’
Gallery Night is an all-ages, community, arts, and cultural event held on the third Friday of each month from 5–9 p.m. Our unique monthly themes set the tone for each event’s art, performers, musical performance stages, and activities that are sure to please. Our monthly events are made possible by Publix, our excellent community partner.
This month, we welcome a collaboration with UWF and their Department of International Affairs near Garden and Palafox from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in lieu of the Garden Street Main Stage. You can come celebrate with us under the lanterns. Performances range from martial arts and Sumo demonstrations, to lion and dragon dance performances, and many more. These performances are sure to awe the audience! You are not going to want to miss this event!
Gallery Night’s December Featured Artist is Raylene Solis. Solis is a Filipino-American Penacola-Native whose art practice utilizes digital and traditional mediums and methods to create multi-media dimensions. Solis’ work is based on exploring lived experiences and the impact we make on our environment. Stop by the Featured Artist tent at this month’s event to meet her and view her work.
Back by popular demand is Gallery Night’s Market Zone located at Government Street across from Ferdinand Plaza. With this, our extensive art zones will be hosting nearly 60 local artisans at this month’s event! Visit our artists’ open-air tents along the street-side to find those unique treasures and gifts for you, your family, and loved ones.
Find event features: Legal Graffiti, sponsored by Zarzaur Law, at Romana and Palafox, and venture a bit more south to the Youth Music Project Stage, sponsored by Stevenson Klotz, at the corner of Palafox and Government.
Participating Downtown Pensacola bars and restaurants are open and serving guests. Additionally, local shops and galleries will remain open late, providing the opportunity to shop for additional unique gifts.
Gallery Night Pensacola’s Board of Directors encourages mask usage for those who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 or are at high health risk.
