Community Partners Join United Way of West Florida to “Stuff the Bus”

On July 21 you can help students in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties get the tools they need to succeed this school year.
Stuff the Bus is a school supply collection drive coordinated by United Way of West Florida, in partnership with Escambia County Schools, Santa Rosa County Schools, Cat Country, NewsRadio 92.3, the Pensacola News Journal, and 3 Cares WEAR. It is the only school supply drive supported by both school districts.
You can purchase and/or drop off supplies at participating Walmart locations on July 21 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are three locations in Escambia County and three in Santa Rosa County. School supply lists will be available at all the Walmart locations.

Drop Off Locations

Escambia County

951 S. Blue Angel Pkwy, Pensacola
2650 Creighton Rd, Pensacola
4600 Mobile Hwy Ste. 122, Pensacola

Santa Rosa County

If you can’t make it to one of the drop-off spots, you can still help by making a donation. You can give at https://www.uwwf.org/school850 or by texting SCHOOL850 to 44321. Every dollar donated will go directly to Escambia and Santa Rosa County school districts and will be used strictly to purchase supplies.

Volunteers are essential to Stuff the Bus. You can support the event by volunteering. United Way of West Florida is looking for people to help collect supplies, sort supplies, and pack supplies. Multiple days and locations are available. Volunteers can sign up at https://www.uwwf.org/stbvolunteers.

Stuff the Bus would not be possible without the generosity of local businesses who sponsor the event. United Way of West Florida would like to thank these companies for their support.
