Pace, Florida resident Josh Jennings was recently selected to coordinate Floor Shield® dealer development for the rapidly growing brand. In his new role, Josh will be providing dealer support including sales development and marketing planning as well as classroom and field training.
Headquartered in Destin Florida, Floor Shield is a quickly curing concrete floor coating with a 15-year warranty that’s a division of veteran-owned AmCoat Industrial. AmCoat also offers Rhino Shield, an elastomeric-ceramic coating that’s warrantied for 25 years — both products are made in the U.S.A.
Originally from Birmingham, Jennings has been in the Pensacola area for 13 years. He’s been in sales 16 years, with the last 7 years spent in the paint and coatings industry. In his new role he’ll be helping grow Floor Shield’s dealer network.
Jennings said several things attracted him to Floor Shield, but primarily it was company leadership.
“We’re on the cusp of something really big here,” said Jennings. “I see the passion — leadership believes in me and what we’re doing. I’m a people person and in this job, I not only get to meet lots of new people, I get to help them realize their dreams as they discover how easy it is to get started as a Floor Shield dealer.”
Jennings said one of the main differentiators with Floor Shield is the quick installation.
“Our typical garage install takes half a day and the homeowner can move back into the garage later in the day,” said Jennings. “That’s a real game changer from older coatings with longer curing times. Floor Shield goes on thick and has high heat and abrasion resistance.”
