Donating is easy, and supporters can remain safely in their vehicles! Krewe members will offload food donations from vehicles at the Manna truck. Manna’s most-needed items are:

    • Chicken and Tuna (canned and pouches)
    • Oatmeal (boxes of single-serve packets)
    • Mixed Vegetables (canned and with peel-off lids)
    • Microwaveable Dinners (e.g. Hormel Compleats)
    • Fruit in 100% Juice (canned and with peel-off lids)
    • Peanut Butter (1 lb. jars and individual cups)
    • Canned Dinners (stew, chicken and dumplings, etc.,)
    • Canned Soup (low-sodium)

Manna accepts and appreciates all nonperishable food donations. To ensure food safety, Manna cannot accept any rusty or unlabeled cans, perishable items, homemade items, noncommercial canned or packaged goods, alcoholic beverages, or items that have been used or opened.

Krewe of SWAT has been collecting healthy food donations for months, including at krewe members’ places of business (more than a dozen sites). Food collected at those locations and the February 12th event will be added to their total weight donated, making them contenders in the Krewe of Sparta Annual Humanitarian Award Food Drive Challenge – an annual event that culminates on weigh-in day (Feb. 20), when several Pensacola Mardi Gras Krewes bring all the donations they’ve collected to Manna. Winners of the Challenge are announced at the Pensacola Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Priscus celebration on Mardi Gras night.

After donating on February 12th, Maserati invites the public to “stick around and experience the elegance and style of Italian engineering, and test drive a Maserati!”
