First City Art Center’s 15th Annual Pumpkin Patch returns in October

First City Art Center’s 15th annual Glass and Ceramic Pumpkin Patch will take place on Saturday, October  9th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free to the public. The event will be held at the Blue Wahoos Stadium located at 351 W. Cedar Street in Pensacola.

Attendees will have thousands of hand-blown glass and hand-thrown clay pumpkins to choose from. The pumpkins are created by local artists and members of First City Art Center’s glass and pottery guilds. Unique handmade pumpkins come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. The public is encouraged to come and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces that are guaranteed to be “picked” quickly.

Prices for pumpkins begin at $20. This event supports FCAC as a non-profit center for the arts, offering affordable art education and outreach programs, and pumpkin purchases also support over 40 local artists!

Manna Food Pantries will also be at the Pumpkin Patch accepting non-perishable donations to support the community. Guests are encouraged to bring a donation. Guests who bring a full bag of donations will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win an FCAC swag bag. Blue Wahoos concessions and bar will be open during the event. Gallery 1060 studio artists will be present with unique artwork available for sale.

The ECUA water truck will be present to provide free water to guests. Carts, strollers, or wagons will not be allowed on the field where the pumpkins will be displayed for sale. No outside food or drink. No dogs.

Masks are strongly encouraged. Staff and volunteers will have masks and hand sanitizer available. First City Art Center is following current CDC guidelines and local mandates regarding Covid-19 for the safety of our community.

FCAC is very excited to have Zarzaur Law, P.A. as a sponsor again this year! The team at Zarzaur Law P.A. has been a longtime supporter of the arts in our community. Sauls CPA & Associates, L.L.C. will also sponsor.
