Mountainfilm on Tour kicks off 3-day pop up festival in Gulf Shores

Mountainfilm uses the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. Started in 1979 in Telluride, Colorado, Mountainfilm is one of America’s longest-running documentary film festivals.



“Mountainfilm on Tour-” has kicked off its renowned pop-up festival with a film showcase and festivities in Gulf Shores this evening at Big Beach Brewing. They plan to visit three locations across the Gulf Coast. Each evenings showcase will include a selection of “culturally rich, adventure-packed, and incredibly inspiring documentary films.”



On MondayApril 26th, the festival continues in Fairhope, Alabama at Fairhope Brewing Company, and on ThursdayApril 29th, it will resume at Perfect Plain Brewing Co. in Pensacola. Doors open both days at 5:00 PM, and the showcase begins at 6:30 PM.


Pre-show music is provided will be provided local artist Hane Skot. Hane Skot is a Pensacola, Florida based singer-songwriter known for their emotional and spiritually-driven lyrics spanning folk, pop and alt-country genres. They are a self-taught singer, songwriter, and musician since the age of 15.
